what will the attendee gain from the class?

Pilates is recognised as one of the safest and most effective forms of exercise.

Suitable for both men and women it has been adopted by top athletes and professional sports clubs/associations the world over however it is also an effective form of exercise for more vulnerable members of the population.

Exercises are structured to meet individual needs and can be progressed or adapted to suit each client. There is a keen focus on core (deep internal stomach muscles, internal and external oblique muscles and those surrounding your spine).

Strong core muscles make it easier to do most physical activities whereas a weak core can lead to fatigue, poor posture, lower back pain and muscle injuries. Pilates strengthens the core whilst encouraging pelvic stability making it a particularly effective tool in the prevention and treatment of back pain.

If you practice Pilates regularly it will change your body shape. Known for creating long, strong muscles and a leaner look, Pilates also improves muscle tone, balances musculature, supports beautiful posture and teaches you to move with ease.
